It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2026 Mechanisms of RNA Decay meeting. Building on a long and enriching tradition, formerly as a FASEB conference, our goal is to bring together an interdisciplinary group of scientists interested in the biology, mechanisms, and regulation of RNA decay, encompassing both eukaryotic and prokaryotic systems, and showcasing the diverse and dynamic research in the field.

The meeting will take place over three full days, June 24–26, 2026, in Berlin (Germany) at the Harnack House, an old villa that now serves as the conference center for the Max Planck Society. This arrangement will allow us to cover most of the costs associated with the venue, logistics, and most meals. That is, there will be no registration fee to attend the conference for academic researchers. Attendees will be responsible for travel and lodging.

We very much hope you will join us in this grassroots effort to make the 2026 Mechanisms of RNA Decay meeting a success. We have space for 100 attendees. We encourage every attendee to present a poster, and we will select several abstracts for short talks.
